66 years of experience on wheels: The Bergmann C805 in focus

To celebrate Bergmann’s 66th anniversary, a very special model is taking center stage: the Bergmann C805. Few other series production models embody continuous development over decades as much as the C805. Its story began in the early 1960s with the AT230. Many further development steps led to the Bergmann 2040 in 2005, which later evolved into the C805 of today. It is the result of years of practical experience. For the customer, this means one thing above all: a machine that wasn’t conceived on the drawing board, but rather through over six decades of on-site experience and close collaboration with our customers.

Today, the Bergmann C805 is the most powerful solution in the 4.5-ton class. Whether on urban construction sites or in landscaping and gardening, the C805 impresses with its combination of compact design, high maneuverability, and powerful performance. With a width of just 1,800 mm and a length of 4,256 mm, it can be maneuvered precisely even in confined workspaces. At the same time, its compact design provides excellent visibility, especially to the rear. This enhances safety during daily use and minimizes risks for the operator and surrounding area.

Under the hood, the C805 delivers impressive performance. The 71-hp Kubota engine provides strong acceleration and pulls cleanly even on steep terrain. With a top speed of up to 25 km/h, the machine is faster than many comparable models. All-wheel drive ensures reliable traction on a variety of surfaces and guarantees smooth material handling.

Comfort and safety were also prioritized for the operator’s daily use. All controls are intuitively arranged and ergonomically easy to reach. This reduces the operator’s physical strain and increases their concentration on the essentials. An often underestimated aspect is the entry. With the C805, entry is from the rear, thus outside the danger zone. Wide, non-slip steps and sturdy handrails provide additional safety when getting in and out. Small details that make a big difference in everyday use.

The maintenance-friendly design also contributes to efficiency. All important service points are easily accessible, allowing maintenance work to be carried out quickly. This saves time, reduces downtime, and ensures that the machine is running precisely when it’s needed.
