The new Bergmann designed for parks and cemeteries

Innovation in the green: The Bergmann company from Meppen is about to unveil a future-oriented, electrically powered vehicle that was specially developed for the requirements of cemeteries and parks. With a focus on ecological sustainability and practical functionality, this compact and maneuverable vehicle – with a width of just 1 meter, a vehicle height of less than 2 meters and a payload of around 1 ton – was developed for transport tasks in tight working environments.

The new, emission-free electric vehicle not only meets the characteristic needs of cemeteries with limited space, but also represents added value for cities and municipalities in positioning themselves for the future in terms of energy. The quiet operation is ideal for use in sensitive environments such as cemeteries and parks and offers a significantly reduced noise level compared to conventionally powered vehicles, which also enables work in quiet zones. Thanks to its emission-free and almost maintenance-free electric drive, the vehicle makes a valuable contribution to environmental protection and thus supports the ecological climate goals of modern municipalities. The lithium iron phosphate battery we developed and manufactured in-house provides safety and performance even on inclines and supplies the vehicle with enough energy for a typical working day. It is charged overnight using a standard 230V household power connection or simply in between, as intermediate charging is also no problem for this powerful and safe battery technology.

The 801e will be available in the future as a dump truck and as a rotating flatbed truck, with the latter being the ideal platform for holding up to 800 liter water tanks for irrigation.

The requirements for a transport vehicle for use in cemeteries and parks were coordinated in close cooperation with experienced cemetery employees in order to address the specific needs of the cemetery sector during development. The new 801e embodies the “Made in Germany” label in its best form and, in addition to being easy to use, stands for maximum safety and impresses with its longevity thanks to quality components.

In times of a shortage of skilled workers, the new electric vehicle offers valuable support for daily cemetery work. The intuitive operation and high efficiency of the vehicle optimize work processes and greatly reduce physical strain. This allows employees to concentrate on their core tasks while improving the quality of work.
